I had no idea that my Mom’s family had been here in America since 1640.  My Hungarian great grandmother came here at 17 and had brothers here who changed the family name. As a retired law enforcement criminal investigator for 38 years, I can recognise a quality investigative product when I see one. In 2023, I contacted Mr Dan Nelson (Dan) and sought assistance in locating historical family ancestral documents to support a "proof of lineage" for application to the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR), a patriot organization. As a novice in family ancestry research, I soon discovered my investigative abilities were challenged. A different skill-set is required to investigate century old family roots than investigating a homicide or robbery. Having done considerable research nationwide on ancestry research companies, I selected Dancestors Genealogy. I found the company was reputable and fees were reasonable. I spoke directly with Dan and he convinced me his company had the skills to meet my ancestry goals in a timely fashion. I have not been disappointed with the results.

These are only two examples of the outstanding results to be expected in working with Dancestors Genealogy. The documents provided, what I know had to be exhaustive research, proving lineage to my 5th great-grandfather William Henry Prentice 1726-1798 on my mothers side. Also, documented proof of lineage to my 5th great-grandfather Elias Hollingsworth 1730-1791 on my fathers side.
