Impeachment

800px-Robert Harley 1st Earl of Oxford by Sir Godfrey Kneller Bt 2In Britain, impeachment was more the norm than the exception.

You can read above the notice regarding Robert, the Earl of Oxford’s (pictured to the right) 1717 trial. Every time there was a change in who was King, or who were the trusted government officials, the prior administrators were at a minimum put into the Tower of London for a while (Oxford served a couple of years), at a maximum they were put to death, If you saw your power waning it was a good time to go abroad, meanwhile all of your estates would be distributed to the new “favourites.” “Favourites” was actually a commonly used term to describe the King’s buddies.
So while being King was a good job, being a high government official or a ‘favourite,’ while fun for a while usually met with less than a glorious departure.

DNA modificationChina’s interest in your DNA

When you have a website, you can review your analytics each month. One of the available data points is where in the world your website visits are coming from. After the U.S., by far and large, the #2 country is China. I do not research Chinese ancestry, and I doubt we would make it very high amongst the Chinese web searches for people that provide such services.
I asked my webmaster, “are those likely hackers?”. (BTW- our website stores no data of any type on the web, so there is nothing to compromise). Their response was, “no, that is because China is collecting any data they can find on DNA worldwide, and using the data for their own purposes.” With the keywords used on our website, a bot searcher would not know whether or not our website is a repository for DNA information or not unless they look and keep looking (it is not a repository for any data).
One concern that is out there is that the DNA knowledge could be used to target DNA specific viruses for specific populations, otherwise known as bioterror. The good news is America is as close to being a “land of mutts” as there is. There is DNA from all over the world housed in the bodies of U.S. Citizens. So targeting a virus is a more difficult feat than, say, creating a virus that affects people with 90% Japanese, 90% Irish DNA, etc.
Another idea is that DNA knowledge could be useful to develop, monopolize and hold hostage people with DNA who could benefit from treatment.

I am not interested in promoting anyone’s conspiracy theories, but the ideas are likely worth some follow-up and reaching some conclusions on your own. Here are a few links. There is much more out there available from multiple sources.
