The Underground Railroad allowed many escaped slaves to gain their freedom by feeling northward as far as Canada.
I had never heard about a southern version of the Underground Railroad that led south into Mexico.
Movie cameras did not become widely available until 1923.
Even if you had a reel of film from the 1920’s it would not be easily viewable. There was roughly a 75-year period where our only photo images of our ancestors were still shots. What if you had the opportunity to view those old pictures in an animated form? Would they seem more alive, more human?
Now that we are things digital, have you ever wondered what happens to old books?
I know genealogists worry that references to families of the past will be lost in the purge.
